  We used Budget car rental for the first time. First, when we picked up the rental car, the employee did not tell us anything about our agreement. He said sign here and where our car was parked. Next, we used a toll road, we come from a state where there are not toll roads. We tried to pay the toll on the online website but it basically read that the rental company does not allow us to pay toll this way. I called the rental car company and asked how to pay the toll that I already drove past. He said I could make an account and pay it online or use their device which charges $3.75 a day plus the toll. Well I could not pay it online because the rental company didn’t allow it. When we returned the car we asked if we could pay the toll through them, they said since we did not use their device they will charge us a $50 fee plus any charges from the toll roads for not using their device that we were not told to use. They told us it was in our agreement which basically reads that we agree that important information about toll roads is located on their website. The employees would not work with us to see if there was any other option to simply pay the toll. Also, the cost per day was much higher than our original estimated price. We are disappointed that they were not more willing to work with us.
